LoCa offers local gadget cases that utilize native abaca fibers in order to promote the value of nationalism and improve the state of local economies.

Abaca fabric is the perfect material for our LoCa cases due to its stiff quality and ability to hold its structure. It is flexible, durable, sustainable, and eco-friendly. The Abaca Fiber is also considered by the United Nations as the "fiber of the future" for its sustainable qualities.

LoCa consists of 6 students from the University of the Ateneo de Manila who work with local weavers and seamstresses throughout different regions in order to provide our customers with the highest quality gadget cases. They come from the Bicol region where about 50,212.34 hectares of abaca farms are being cultivated and the Calabarzon region where local farmers are slowly staking their claim within the industry. Our weavers are part of a several weaving communities who rely on this as one of their main source of livelihoods.
